Description

Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment and supervision to renovate BE1, Release of Information (approximately 570 SF) located at the Main Hospital Basement Floor East Wing Room BE1, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 E. Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA 71101. This space shall be made into 3 different rooms for privacy. This project will demolish of the existing finishes and associated work as indicated. Contractor to provide and install all new interior finishes as indicated, to include electrical and HVAC work. Work to include asbestos abatement of the flooring (floor mastic is hot/contains asbestos). All work shall be in accordance with the following Statement of Work, specifications and drawings. The dollar magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS 236220 applies-size standard is $36.5 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov ) under NAICS 236220 and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://www.sam.gov ), and must have a current VETS-4212 Report on file at www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm in order to submit offers and be eligible for award. All offerors must be listed as verified in the VIP database, available in VETBIZ at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. You must register as Interested Vendor at the fedbizopps website in order to receive e-mail notification of amendments. Point of contact for this solicitation is the Contracting Officer, Gina Roach, email gina.roach@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Solicitation No. 36C25618B0295 including specifications and drawings will be issued as an IFB construction contract on or about February 20, 2018. Bids will be due not less than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and specific information for the site visit will be announced upon Solicitation issuance. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NOTE: This project is subject to the AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
