Description
JOFOC The United States Government intends to award a new lease, for a term of ten (10) years, five (5) year firm using other than full and open competition for the Transportation Security Administration that is expiring in 06/30/2018. This justification applies to all TSA continuing need requirements for support and administrative work space that are required to be on airport property at the Rochester International Airport (ROC). TSA space must be located on-airport to effectively carry out its mission in direct airport support of the screener workforce and administration staff that supports the screener workforce and other functions. The US Government (Transportation Security Administration) intends to award a succeeding lease set aside for an existing lease that is expiring in Rochester, NY (ROC) at 1200 Brooks Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624. The Government requires office and related space yielding a minimum of 420 Rentable sq. ft. / 420 ANSI/BOMA office area. The space must be located on-airport of the Rochester International Airport (ROC). The lease shall include all services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations must be included as part of the rental consideration. Due to mission critical duties, the space must be accessible by major arterial roads and/ or public transportation systems to Boston-Logan International Airport. Additional requirements are to have sufficient parking for visitors, and the ability to securely house a 24 hour operation within the space. The Government may consider alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. All offers should be aware that the Government will consider the cost of relocation, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TSA will not reimburse for any costs incurred by interested parties in providing a notification of interest and/or capability statement in response to this posting. To submit a location for inspection, contact this office by Thursday, March 1, 2018. (Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.) WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Building Name and Address, Rentable and Usable Square Footage, Fully Serviced Rental rate and Common Area Factor, available parking and Building Floor plans. Interested parties should send this information in writing, via email to Tasha.Hill@tsa.dhs.gov by the date specified above and ensure receipt by the Government.
