Description

Network Contracting Office 5 intends to issue a Request For Quote (RFQ) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for Project 540-18-003S, Replace Cabinets and Flooring in the Operating Room Suite, Third Floor Clinical Addition at the VAMC in Clarksburg, WV. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision to complete cabinet and flooring project per specifications and drawings. Place of performance is 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301. This project includes removal and installation of approximately 1500SF of flooring and removal and install of approximately 5 cabinets. Contractor will be required to accomplish other demolition and construction work that will be further described in the statement of work that will be provided in the formal solicitation. Period of Performance is 75 calendar days from issuance of Notice To Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at www.fbo.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of all contractors to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the contractor regarding the solicitation. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a RFQ conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.. This project is being solicited as a total set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 1 February 2018.
