- Combined synopsis/solicitation Statement of Work Redacted J&A 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Solicitation number is N32205-18-Q-4157 and is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96, effective 6 Nov 2017. 4. The associated NAICS code is 541330 and this procurement is not being set-aside for small businesses. 5. Military Sealift Command has a sole source requirement for Siemens Industry Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Representative to inspect, replace power cable from VSD to motor, replace grounding system cabling and commission all VSDs onboard USNS TRENTON (T-EPF 5) See attached Statement of Work. 6. The required period of performance is 12 through 13 February 2018 and 12 through 21 March 2018. Work shall be performed at Viktor Lenac Shipyard; Rijeka, Croatia. 7. Responses to the combined synopsis/solicitation are due 5 February 2018 at 2:00 PM local time Norfolk, VA. Quotes may be e-mailed to tommy.a.hale@navy.mil.
