Description

This is PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The US Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, hereinafter referred to as MVAHCS located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 541690 with a size standard of $15 million. The VA will award a firm, fixed price IDIQ, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to Minneapolis VA Health Care System only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12 month base year with one (4) 12 month options to renew. Service will begin May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2019 for the base year. The Minneapolis VA Healthcare System (MVAHCS) has a requirement for the provision of services of Computer Assisted Surgery Specialist (CASS), also known as a Certified Surgical Technologist/Equipment Specialist (CST), to provide technical support for VA surgeons when they are performing complex neurosurgery, spinal, and ENT surgical procedures using the VA owned Medtronic Stealth ® Surgical Navigation System and O-Arm ® Imaging. The surgery specialist will provide their technical expertise and guidance in using the Stealth ® Surgical Navigation and O-Arm ® Systems by assisting surgeons with navigation solutions for complex computer-assisted surgical procedures. Contractor will provide the services of CASS/CST who is trained and fully qualified to assist and support VA Surgeons using the Stealth ® Surgical Navigation System and O-Arm ® Imaging in computer-assisted surgeries. Services are required for highly delicate and complex neurosurgery, spinal, and ENT surgical procedures in order to maximize patient safety and optimize successful patient outcomes.
