- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division in support of the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC) Warfighter Directorate intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole source basis to Clariant Plastics & Coatings USA Inc. (Clariant), located at 85 Indl Dr., Holden, MA 01520, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for color concentrates and compounds for use in extrusion of polymeric materials into fiber form. No other source for this service can be used as the Government's requirement is for specific concentrates and compounds using proprietary dye, pigment formula components and trade secrets. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325991 and the size standard is 500 Employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by sending responses regarding this requirement to the Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground CCAP-SCN, Natick Contracting Division via e-mail ONLY to schon.m.zwakman.civ@mail.mil no later than 4:00 p.m. EDT 13 February 2018. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
