Description
INDUSTRY DAY MOVED TO 14-15 March 2018 The Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD), and the Army Science and Technology (S&T) community for the Asymmetric Vision/Decide Faster (AV/DF) initiative, industry day is being rescheduled for 14-15 March 2018. If previously registered for this event, please confirm attendance at the upcoming March event and any changes in your attendee list ensuring to include required information for each attendee (see 10 August 2017 announcement). The opportunity is also being opened for submissions of new white papers and Industry Day attendees. New white papers and all requests for Industry Day attendance must be submitted no later than 1pm ET on 23 February 2018. White papers may be submitted for any of the topics originally announced on 10 August 2017. White paper submissions and requests for industry day attendance must meet the requirements and limitations originally posted on 10 August 2017. Industry day will begin at 1000 hours on 14 March 2018 at the Fort Belvoir Officers' Club with a general session for all participants which may require up to 3 hours. Participation is limited to U.S. persons only. Following the general session, individual-company sessions will begin. Time with individual industry representatives will be scheduled in advance and limited to no longer than one thirty (30) minute session. If needed, individual-company sessions will continue on 15 March 2018 starting at 0900 hours. Please allow sufficient time to pass through security check point to access Fort Belvoir and industry day check-in. All visitors must use Tulley Gate to access Fort Belvoir. Tulley Gate can be accessed by visitors after 6:30am daily. To receive a pass, authorized drivers must provide a valid state driver's license, a current vehicle registration and proof of insurance (or rental car agreement, as appropriate). It takes approximately 15 minutes to travel from Tulley Gate to the Fort Belvoir Officers' Club (map attached). The Government will not reimburse interested sources or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding, or for subsequent exchanges of information. Information submitted and/or presented does not constitute a proposal but rather an exchange of capabilities and ideas. The Government does not intend to publish any questions or comments received as a result of this announcement. However, it is the intent of Army S&T to have open and continued dialogue with industry as requirements relating to this event emerge.
