Description
This notice is posted in accordance with FAR Part 5.2 and 36.213-2 This RESTRICTED ACQUISITION is set aside 100% for a woman owned small business. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $15M. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM), contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. The objective of this project is to Repair Pneumatic Controls - Multi Facilities; Project Number TYMX138002, JBSA-Randolph, TX. General Scope of Work: Convert pneumatic controls of the HVAC system to Direct Digital Control (DDC) for the following buildings at JBSA- Randolph, Texas: B13, B20, B55, B63, B70, B72, B100, B111, B171, B208, B220, B585, B671, B675A, B675B, B675C, B738, B747, B860, B861, B863, B902, B903, B905, B907, B990, B991& B1039. This project consists of complete conversion of the current HVAC system to Direct Digital Control in the listed facilities. The design shall be cost effective and establish economical and efficient synergy among the systems and spaces applicable. Parts will be compatible with existing system and maintenance will be similar among the systems and meets the various space requirements for environmental control. The 502D Contracting Squadron, JBSA-Randolph, TX intends to award a contract with a 335 calendar day period of performance. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Any subsequent RFP will be made available electronically via the FedBizOpps (FBO) website (https://www.fbo.gov) on or about 12 Feb 2018. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FBO website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No collect calls or facsimile transmissions will be accepted. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement.
