Description

18Q0010 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. NSWC, IHEODTD intends to award a SOLE SOURCE to: UTC Aerospace Systems This acquisition is a SOLE SOURCE requirement with Universal Propulsion Company Inc, 3530 Branscombe Road, Fairfield, CA 94533 for OA Testing of the Dual Gas Fired Initiator (DODIC JM58). Offeror is ineligible for award unless registered in SAM www.sam.gov with completed and up to date representations and certifications for NAICS Code: 541380, FSC Code: H213 and Size Standard: $15 Million. Offers must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on 09 February 2018. Please provide all responses and direct all questions to Jodi Fields by email at jodi.fields@navy.mil. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). See Note 22. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.
