Holiday Decoration Option Plan 25 Jan 18 MEMORANDUM FOR PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS FROM: 7 CONS/PKB 381 Third Street, Bldg 7238 Dyess AFB, TX 79607-1581 SUBJECT: Request for Information - Holiday Decoration 1. The will be an official Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with FAR Part 52.215-3. Although "proposal" and "offeror are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all cost associated will be solely at the interested party's expense. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities (FedbizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. 2. Dyess AFB is considering two options for Holiday decorations. Option A is to award a 5 -year (options) recurring service contract. This option would hire a contractor to provide, install, maintain, and remove decorations each holiday season. Option B is to buy holiday decoration that can easily be assembled and installed by military personnel, that could also be reused from year to year. 3. The request for information for Option A are as follows: a. Proposed pricing structure for a recurring decoration services. b. Types of decorations available for an annual contract value in the following ranges: i. $10,000.00 - $20,000.00 ii. $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 iii. $30,000.00- $40,000.00 c. Information on trends for utilizing solar-powered or battery powered (with timers) decorations. 4. The request for information for Option B are as follows: a. Time frame required to order Holiday decorations. b. Types of decorations available for the following price ranges: i. $10,000.00 - $20,000.00 ii. $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 iii. $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 iv. $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 5. This RFI is intended to familiarize the contracting office with potential avenues for decorating part of the base during the Holidays. If there are relevant considerations that have not been specifically addressed in this RFI, please include those in your submission. 5. POC for questions/concerns. DANNY L.
