- Description
- Solicitation package, including SOW and Visitor Form for site visit The General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Acquisition Management will contract to provide CIMST Supplemental Cooling Design/Building at ATF Headquarters Building, 99 New York Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20226. The ATF Headquarters building was completed in July 2007. The building was designed to have a raised-floor air plenum and air-conditioning system. Fan coil units with linear slotted diffusers are along some perimeter walls. Ducted and non-ducted floor-vents for supply and return are interspersed throughout the floor. The system is operated on water. The ATF customer is seeking to refurbish the Critical Incident Management Support Team (CIMST) Operations Center, which when activated operates as a 24/7 facility. The refurbishment performed by the end user will include increasing the amount of audio-visual devices contained within the work area that connects three suites. The three suites are designed to work together if needed. The customer will be selecting their own audio-visual devices. The existing CIMST area has an air-flow/heat-load problem, which is expected to worsen with the advent of regular usage of the facility and the installation and change-out of audio-visual equipment. The vendor is required to perform an analysis of the projected heat load and to design a mechanical system and office configuration that will seek to mitigate any heat issues. This RFQ is set aside for Economically Disadvantage Women Owned Small Business. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. Please read the RFP in its entirety.
