Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about the February 8th, 2018 to Replace Roof B-104 and B42 at the Bath VA Medical Center. Project No. 528A6-18-612. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to remove and replace the shingled roof of Building 104 & Bldg. 42 located at the VA Medical Center in Bath, New York. The General Contractor shall be responsible for: removing existing shingles & felt paper & built-up E.P.D.M., if applicable, to the wood sheathing and/or concrete deck. The G.C. shall provide material to replace any rotted or damaged wood sheathing if found. The G.C. shall remove all existing flashing, drip edge and replace with new material specified. This contract shall include other items as shown on the contract drawings and specifications. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business standard is $15 M. The cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
