- The following Sources Sought provides an opportunity for contractors interested in "On-Ramping" onto an existing IDIQ MAC contract. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST SUBMIT A CAPABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES STATEMENT NO LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON 29 JANUARY 2018. PSC: J999 NAICS: 336611 The Northwest Regional Maintenance Center (NWRMC), Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Industry Management Department, Code 400 intends to utilize this contract to procure preservation of critical and non-critical surfaces and installation of new coating systems which may include single and multiple coat systems, ultra-high solids, epoxy, solvent based, and anti-fouling. As well as associated structural repair requirements necessary to support the preservation process for aircraft carrier, submarine and other vessels during maintenance availabilities at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, WA (Controlled Industrial Area) and at other locations in the region as identified in task orders. Typical preservation services for aircraft carriers and submarines are as follows: Underwater Hull (including domes, sea chests, rudders, anode shields), Freeboard Surfaces (including ventilation intake/exhaust screens and coamings, flight deck overhang, sponsons, and platforms), Catwalks, Voids, Ventilation Plenums, Aircraft Elevators and Recess Areas, Exterior and Interior Surfaces (overheads, bulkheads and decks). Coating systems may include non-aviation area non-skid product installation (sponsons, platforms, catwalk areas). Typical preservation services for submarines are as follows: Interior and Exterior Tanks (including Main Ballast, Mud, Potable Water, Sanitary, and Auxiliary), Sail (Interior and Exterior), Pressure and Non-Pressure Hull, Superstructure, Exterior Recesses, Free Flood areas, and Interior and Exterior Surfaces. Coating systems may include single and multiple coat systems, ultra-high solids, epoxy, solvent based, and anti-fouling. Typical preservation services for other vessels and craft are as follows: Underwater Hull, Freeboard Surfaces, Interior and Exterior Spaces (overhead, bulkhead and deck) and Tanks.
