Description
REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) - N5523618Q0040 Attachment-1 Request for Specification Clarification Justification for Brand Name Sole Source This solicitation is being processed in accordance with FAR Part 13. THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE, IS A FULL AND OPEN SOLICITATION Brand Name Sole Source, under NAICS 336611. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular, 2005-96, effective date 06 Nov 2017. This is a written solicitation (N5523618Q0040) for two (2) SUMP PUMPS in support of YRBM-29. The required delivery date (RDD) is no later than 28 February 2018. Your quote must be received via email to the primary and secondary contacts as listed below, no later than 25 January 2018, 11:00 AM (PST). PRIMARY Contract Specialist: Claudia Julao, Claudia.julao@navy.mil and SECONDARY Contract Specialist Cynthia Urias, cynthia.urias@navy.mil. Vendor shall provide a quote describing the proposed products that meet the technical requirements of the solicitation. EVALUATION FACTORS: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the vendor whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, Technical Acceptability and Price considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1.Technically Acceptable and 2. Price. Award will be made to the quoter who proposes the lowest reasonable price and if their proposed list of parts is technically acceptable. The quote must be received in this office no later than January 25, 2018, 11:00 AM (PST). Per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.208(a), Submission, Modification, Revision, and Withdrawal of Proposal, Offerors are responsible for submitting proposals so as to reach the Government office designated in the solicitation by the time specified in the solicitation. A quote received after this time will be considered "late" in accordance with FAR 15.208(b)(1)(i), Submission, Modification, Revision, and Withdrawal of Proposals, and will not be considered. Offeror shall comply with all the FAR/ DFARs/NMCARs clauses and solicitation requirements for this request.
