Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about the February 5th, 2018 to install Water Monitoring Safety Requirements at the Bath VA Medical Center. Project No. 528A6-18-614. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to Install Water Safety Requirements as required by drawings and specifications. Install Water Safety Requirements: Work includes general construction, asbestos abatement, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, plumbing, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. The purpose of the Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) is to continuously monitor, record, and alarm water safety critical controls points via electronic means. The EMS shall not provide control of any equipment nor shall it interfere with control of equipment. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $15 M. The cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
