This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Background: Lexington VA Medical Center- Leestown Division (Customer) continues to standardize its workspace with workstations designed and manufactured by Herman Miller. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 337214 and sized standard is 1000 employees. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: Lexington VA Medical Center-LD, building 2, Fiscal Office, room 128 [ dimensions 24 ft. 5 in. by 14 ft. 10 in.] requires purchasing, delivery, and installation of five Herman Miller brand workstations. See attached for Specs and Item Requirements Products must be new, not refurbished, used, or grey-market type. Anticipated period of performance: Customer would like delivery and installation completed before February 28, 2018. Customer is aware that it usually takes 45 days from issuance of an order to complete installation. Other important considerations: Installation of product must occur only during standard work days and work hours. Capability statement /information sought: Response to this announcement shall not to exceed 4 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format; (4) Letter from OEM that offeror is an authorized distributor/reseller/installer.
