Attachments Grounds Maintenance_ Solicititation Amendment 0001 1/19/2018 -Solicititation Issued and Solicitation Amendment issued- Response date: 22 February 2018 at 10:00 A.M. 12/4/2018 _ Presolicitation --The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District intends to issue an Invitation to Bid (IFB) solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price contract for Mowing and Grounds Maintenance Services at Lake Shelbyville, Shelbyville, IL. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material necessary to perform grounds maintenance services such as mowing, trimming, vegetative control, turf maintenance and renovations at Lake Shelbyville, Shelbyville, IL. This acquisition is solicited as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS (SB) SET-ASIDE for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) with a base year and four (4) option years to renew. The Guaranteed Minimum will approximately be 2500.00 for the base year and 1300.00 for each option year. The NAICS Code is 561730 with a standard of $7.5 Million. Paper copies of this solicitation and its amendments will not be available or issued. Electronic copies are not permitted for the bid. The bid opening date and time will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be available on or about January 29, 2018. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential bidders are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov/. This solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov/. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or the Interested Vendors List. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the Interested Vendor List will not be honored. Potential bidders MUST register at www.fedbizopps.gov/, in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The Interested Vendor List will be activated and may be accessed and printed from this wed site. Prospective bidders who would like their company name included on the Bidders Mailing List (plan holders list) may do so on the FedBizOpps website under Interested Vendor List. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This Sources Sought Synopsis is a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify Small Business Contractors with experience with various aspects of ground maintenance services. The NAICS Code for this requirement will be 561730, Landscaping Services. Responses should include a brief capability statement of no more than three pages indicating the experience and capability of a variety of ground maintenance tasks to include, but not limited to: mowing; trimming; vegetative control (herbicide application) in riprapped areas, waste water treatment lagoons, unmowable areas, along guard rails, fences, sidewalks, beaches, parking lot areas, and along roadways; grass seeding; fertilizing; bed maintenance; balled and burlapped tree plantings; and renovation at Lake Shelbyville. The anticipated work would be within the geographic boundaries of our Lake Shelbyville Project Office in Shelbyville, Illinois, in Shelby and Moultrie Counties, IL. A.) Capability Statements: Note: Under capability statements below, in addition to listing general experience, specifically include a listing of any USACE projects on which you demonstrated the required capability, including levee projects. 1. Briefly explain your experience with Ground Maintenance Services. 2. Briefly explain your experience with vegetative control/herbicide application. B.)
