- Notice of Government's Intent to issue a Sole Source a requirement to Doble Engineering Company for the Replacement of an F6150 Power System Simulator Equipment This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source contract using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. This requirement is for the purchase of an F6150e Power System Simulator that replaces a damaged simulator owned by the Government. Southwestern Power Administration intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to Doble Engineering Company. The proposed contract action is for products or services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon any responses received from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by no later than 4:00 p.m., CST, Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
