Description
RFI This is a Request for Information (RFI) SPE605-18-RFI-1004 for market research purposes ONLY. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) is exploring alternative solutions and determining industry capabilities. In accordance to FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued solely for the gathering of information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals. Any response to this notice will be treated as information only. All responses received may be held for an extended period of time or destroyed. In no case will any responses be returned to the originator. DLA Energy will not provide reimbursement for costs incurred in responding to this RFI as all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be the sole responsibility of the responding party. Respondents are advised that DLA Energy is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted under this RFI. Responses to this RFI do not bind DLA Energy to any further actions related to this topic. There will be a question/answer period provided giving the opportunity to ask any questions (not limited to the listed questions below) and a cumulative response given. Please provide all questions NLT January 19, 2018 to the below points of contact, the cumulative response to be posted by COB January 24, 2018. The primary purpose of this RFI is to generate interest, address concerns, and to develop a fair and competitive environment. The RFI will close January 24, 2018 at 09:00am EST Fort Belvoir, Virginia local time (USA). Information will be accepted after January 23, 2018 however, no expectation of a response shall be anticipated January 24, 2018. In addition to any questions, your company may have please also address the following: •1. Does your company have the ability to support Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL) Trucking Services to Hachinohe, Misawa Transport of FJ3 January to March 2018? •2.
