- ARMY MECHANICAL MATOC U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock, AR District Pre-solicitation Notice W9127S-16-R-6029: This solicitation will be advertised as a total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 (Plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors). The small business size standard is $15 million. The solicitation is for firm fixed priced IDIQ (indefinite delivery indefinite quantity) MATOC (multiple award task order contracts) construction contracts. The proposed contract will be issued for a base period of three years for a $45 Million capacity shared among the MATOC pool. The project consists of Design/Build Construction, Renovation and Repair for U.S. Army Medical Command healthcare and Medical Research facilities. A priority responsibility is facility sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM), which includes the emergency, urgent and routine repairs, planned renovation, construction and maintenance of hospitals, clinics, administrative buildings, health facilities, Medical Research Laboratories, warehouse, veterinary clinics, ancillary facilities, wellness centers and other buildings under the responsibility of the U.S. Army Medical Command. All work in this area are classified as Mechanical Infrastructure Repair (MIR) and includes Mechanical Infrastructure Systems with minor ancillary engineering, architectural and construction associated with the mechanical infrastructure systems. The majority of work will be conducted in active healthcare facilities in CONUS (contiguous United States) locations (including Alaska and Hawaii). Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about February 1, 2018. It is each offeror's responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the website as well. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the FBO website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted.
