- Solicitation Number: SILL_INDUSTRY_DAY_336414 Notice Type: Notice to Industry SYNOPSIS: BG Randall McIntire, the Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Cross-Functional Team (CFT) Director, extends an open invitation for Industry to attend a CFT Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) Industry Engagement Day at Fort Sill, Oklahoma from 31 January - 1 February 2018. PURPOSE: The event is intended to 1) present attending Industry representatives a broad overview of the CFT and a general description of the M-SHORAD efforts in an open forum, and 2) provide an opportunity for industry partners to present their current and future capability efforts supporting M-SHORAD during individual one-on-one engagements. PARTICIPATION: Open to Industry interested in understanding the CFT and an opportunity for industry to share their potential contributions to the current and future capabilities of M-SHORAD. Participants will not be compensated for their participation in this event. The government will limit each contractor provided information session to 30 minutes. Due to limited time slots, attendance will be considered on a first come, first served basis. The government requests that each respondent bring a team not to exceed five (5) people and provide the attendee information below NLT 24 January 2018. Additionally, the government requests respondents to provide eight (8) hard-copy briefing charts during the session and provide electronic briefing charts to the POCs NLT 29 January 2018. LOCATION/DATE: The CFT Industry Engagement Day will be held at Fort Sill, Oklahoma 73503 from 31 January - 1 February 2018. The CFT presentation to industry will occur in the afternoon of 31 January in Reimer Conference Center, Snow Hall. The individual Industry engagements will start at 1500hrs immediately following the CFT's presentation on 31 January and continue through 1 February in designated rooms in Snow Hall. Official Agenda will be provided at a later date. VISITOR ACCESS PROCEDURES TO FORT SILL: Effective 9 February 2015, personnel requiring access to the installation shall possess a Common Access Card (CAC), Long Term Unescorted Access Pass or Military ID, or Individual temporary pass issued by the Fort Sill Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) pursuant to Army Directive 2014-05, Policy and Implementation Procedures for Common Access Card Credentialing and Installation Access for Un-cleared Contractors.
