- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the United States Penitentiary (USP) McCreary, located in Pine Knot, Kentucky. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: - Estimated Inpatient Days - 500 days - Estimated Outpatient Visits - 450 visits - Dermatologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 12 visits per contract year - ENT Specialist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year - General Surgeon - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year - Neurologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 6 visits per contract year - Optometrist - session duration is 8 hours (approximate); session quantity is 52 per contract year - Orthopedic Surgeon - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year - Psychiatrist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 12 visits per contract year - Urologist - visit duration is 6 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year The solicitation will be made available on/or about February 2, 2018, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about April 3, 2018. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
