Project 00178 January 10, 2018 Request for Information- Sources Sought (WOSB) Date Posted: January 10, 2018 Response Deadline: January 17, 2018 Agency: Defense Logistics Agency Description: This is a request for information. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is issuing a sources sought notice as part of a market research effort. Please review the attached NSNs and provide DLA Aviation with any sources that are able to manufacture the item. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. General Capability Questions: •1. Describe your company's capabilities for generating, handling, processing and storing classified material and data. •2. What is your company's current maximum production capacity per month? Provide information on any facility reserves you may possess to increase production capacity in the event of an immediate need do to critical operational mission requirements. Hardware Production Questions: •3. Describe your capability and experiences in the manufacturing/fabrication of components. •4. What quality assurance processes and test qualification practices does your company employ? Please provide a description of your quality program (ISO 9000, QS-9000, EIA-599, or otherwise)? Commerciality Questions: •5. Are there establish ed catalog or market prices for our requirement? If you offer this product and/or service to both U.S. Government and commercial sources, is the same workforce used for both the U.S. Government and general public? Is our requirement offered to both under similar terms and conditions? Briefly describe any differences. Forecasting/Collaboration: •6. Do you see a need for DLA involvement in this process? •7. In your opinion, what is the best way to collaborate forecasting with the customers? Distribution/Warehousing: •8. What is your concept for the Distribution/Warehousing requirements to support this effort? Data Management: •9. What type of data systems do you currently use and do you see any concerns with integrating your IT systems with other industry partners and government agencies? •10. Describe how your management information system will interact with DLA ANSI X-12 transaction requirements. General Business Information: •11. Would you be willing to enter into a long term contract? •12. If your company is considered a Small Business under the proposed NAICS codes (enter the NAICS codes) do you foresee any impediments in support of this initiative? •13.
