THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. VA Health Care System in Alexandria, LA is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest, capability and size standard of any potential sources capable of providing the requirements listed below. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information/sources sought notice. This is a sources sought field verification, procurement, delivery, and installation of replacement stage curtains for the auditorium located at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, Arkansas (see draft SOW). Stage curtains will consist of specific sizes and configurations using the products listed below in the salient characteristics. New stage curtain colors must match existing products currently being utilized to coordinate with the existing window drapery. Please provide response if your company can provide the requested product IAW the draft SOW. Please provide specifications and data for your items, your company size standard and capability statement. In addition, please provide documentation showing you are capable to provide these The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI/sources sought, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future associated RFP that may be issued. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: www.fbo.gov. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any follow-on information. Information is sought from all available sources. Nevertheless, the VA must comply with the Veterans First Contracting program implemented on June 16, 2016, when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that consistent with Public Law 109-461 (38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128), the VA shall award contracts based upon competition restricted to SDVOSBs or VOSBs when a contracting officer has a reasonable expectation, based on market research, that two or more firms listed as verified in Vendor Information Pages database are likely to submit offers and an award can be made at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the United States. All interested parties should send company and descriptive literature as well as any comments or questions to the designated Contract Specialist, Mrs. Arlene A. Blade, via e-mail. All responses should be received NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM CST, 16 JANUARY 2018. Responses should be submitted electronically to the designated Contract Specialist, Arlene A.
