Contracting Office Address U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, P.O. Box 17300, ATTN: CESWF-CT, Room 2A19, 819 Taylor Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102-0300 This is not a solicitation. A solicitation will be issued on or about 26 January 2018. CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is a "Full and Open" acquisition for VOLAR Barrack Renovations Buildings 2272 & 2277 at Fort Polk, LA. Firms will be selected based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 236220, which has a size standard of $36.5 million. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. The contract is anticipated to be approximately awarded in September 2018. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted. PROJECT INFORMATION: Construction range is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. This contract is a Design Bid Build for the construction of the VOLAR Barrack Renovations Buildings 2272 & 2277 at Fort Polk, LA. The design and phased renovation of 2 VOLAR barracks at Fort Polk, Louisiana, to improve energy efficiency, eliminate mold and mildew, and provide a better living environment for the soldiers that will last for the next 20 years. Work will include, but not limited to the design and renovation of 2 barracks to house one soldier per room, replacement of water and sewer service lines to each barracks, site and site drainage improvements, landscaping and LEED Silver certification for each barracks. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary to perform the construct a VOLAR Barrack Renovations Buildings 2272 & 2277, as specified in the Statement of Work and Design Plans that will be attached to the future Request for Proposal (RFP). All work shall comply with all State, local and Federal laws and regulations, and applicable code requirements. The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is committed to excellence in the construction activity for this requirement. The construction of this project shall achieve the highest quality of operations and aesthetics in meeting the requirements of the design while at the same time being cost effective. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between: $25,000,000 and $100,000,000 After solicitation issuance, contractors may view and or download this solicitation, specifications and all amendments at the following internet addresses: Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov ). Plans and specifications will NOT be made available in paper format or on compact disc. It is the Offerors responsibility to monitor the FedBizOps website and or any other official government website for amendments to the solicitation.
