Description

The Audiology/Speech Pathology Division of the VHA Salt Lake City has been approved through the strategic initiative planning process to expand Audiology Services at the Pocatello CBOC. Requesting to purchase and install highly specialized operational equipment, which is required to test patients hearing. This is to be housed within the Audiometric Service. The Audiometric Suite Sound booth will need to be installed prior to finishing the construction of the surrounding walls so that the electrical wiring for outlets and lights, ventilation and fire extinguishing systems are tied in and plumbed for the sound booth. Description The Verifit 2 has three binaural simultaneous capabilities on-ear, test box and headphones. It also has Industry-best bandwidth verification capabilities to 12.5 kHz to handle the latest hearing aid technology. Enhanced office integration capabilities including new wireless networking, VESA mount capability on rear unit, convenient remote operation. Increased efficiency features including puttyless coupling options and slide-in couplers.
