- This solicitation is being issued on an urestricted basis to allow for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 334516. Offerors must also be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov per FAR 52.212.1 lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitationwhich shall be considered.The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed type contract based on the lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror. Items are listed as follows: 1. Mobile Restraint Cage-Aluminum, Qty/ 3 EA Description is as follows: All aluminum construction with some 304 stainless steel parts; approximate overall size of unit 24"w x 40"lg x 43"tall (casters); caster base and main frame components constructed of aluminum 1"x 1" box tube; Unit is supported on SS 5" stem casters; one fixed side wall of the unit has 3/8" aluminum diameter rods 3" centers; unit has open top (adding rods is optional); the restraint wall has 3/8" aluminum diameter rods on 3" centers; restraint wall is guided and glides on bearing system for easy operation; 2 guillotine style doors at either end have 3/8" aluminum diameter rods on 3" centers; removable aluminum waste pan provided; removable aqua grate floor panel provided; bead blasted to matt finish; unit can be equiped with an optional ramp; can be customized with special features and removable vertical rods if needed. all offers must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number.
