- RFI M67854-18-I-5104 GENERAL PURPOSE AUTOMATIC TEST SYSTEM (GPATS) SPARES AND SUBSYSTEMS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) The Automatic Test Systems Team under the direction of the Program Manager Supply and Maintenance Systems (PM SMS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking potential sources and best practice information towards producing the configuration of the current Power Distribution Unit (PDU), cables, and subassemblies as spares for the legacy United States Marine Corps (USMC) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) General Purpose Automatic Test System (GPATS). MARCORSYSCOM is interested in subassemblies and spares that are build-to-print and requiring no nonrecurring engineering or integration into the legacy system. The SMS Program Office is seeking potential sources that could provide PDUs, instruments, cabling and a switching test capability that would not require first article testing of the required subsystems and assemblies. Specific requirements include the PDU, the robust system switching test, PDU modules, associated GPATS cabling, FMS AN/PSM-123 cables, and FMS GPATS instruments. All responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within ten calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by MCSC. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. Kimberly A. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to the RFI may be submitted via email no later than 2:00 p.m., 19 January 2018 to the Contract Specialist, cited above at kimberly.a.stone@usmc.mil. All questions, answers, information discussed, and any other information pertinent to this RFI will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Information denoted as intellectual property will not be posted. Responder's are advised that the Government may utilize support contractors/non-Government personnel to assist in collecting and reviewing market research information. Responder's shall either 1) submit copies of executed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with the contractors supporting MARCORSYSCOM in technical evaluations or 2) a statement that the responder will not allow the Government to release its proprietary data to the Government support contractors. In the absence of either of the foregoing, the Government will assume that the responder does NOT agree to the release of its submission to Government support contractors. THIS RFI IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY ITEMS/SERVICES, NOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR THE INFORMATION RECEIVED.
