- Environmental Management (EM) Nevada Environmental Program Services (EPS) Requirement Special Notice Industry Day, Community Event and One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions January 9, 2018 The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) plans to hold an Industry Day and One-on-One Information Exchange sessions on January 23, 2018 through January 24, 2018, in support the upcoming procurement for EM Nevada Environmental Program Services (EPS) at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). A Community Event will be held on January 17, 2018. The current EM Nevada EPS contract at NNSS expires on January 31, 2020. The Industry Day presentations will provide a site overview and technical discussion of the major Elements of Scope for the anticipated EM Nevada EPS contract, and encourage industry feedback to aid the Department in the development of the Acquisition Plan. Industry day presentations will be available on the procurement website no later than January 18, 2018. The Industry Day will be held at the Frank H. Rogers Building on January 23, 2018, located at 755 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, Room: Auditorium. Check in will begin at 8:30 am (local time) and the meeting will begin at 9:00 am (local time). The event is anticipated to conclude at approximately 12:00 pm (local time). DOE will hold One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions to obtain constructive input from interested firms regarding the EM Nevada EPS procurement. The one-on-one sessions are provided as an opportunity for interested parties to present their thoughts and suggestions on the procurement, including but not limited to the questions included in the Request for Information (RFI). DOE will consider all input, will not attribute the input received to any other participant, and will protect any information identified as business sensitive. DOE is not requesting and will not accept any company marketing material. Any presentation materials shall be in hard copy, as computer equipment will not be provided nor allowed. Furthermore, no recording, copying or transcription devices will be allowed during the One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions by attendees. The One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions will be held on January 23, 2018 and January 24, 2018. Time slots on the 23rd will be available from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and 8:30am to 5:00pm on the 24th. Additional time slots may become available on January 25, 2018 depending on the number of sessions requested. The One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions will be located at the Frank H. Rogers Building located at 755 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, Room: Auditorium. The One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions will be scheduled in 30 minute increments on a first come first serve basis. A Community Event will be held on January 17, 2018. The event will take place during the Nevada Site Specific Advisory Board meeting starting at 4:00pm PST at the Beatty Community Center located at 100 A Avenue South in Beatty, NV. No registration is required for this event. Registration for the Industry Day and One-on-One Information Exchange Sessions will close on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Pre registration is required and walk ins will not be permitted. Registration is limited to three (3) representatives from each company attending the Industry Day and one-on-one sessions. However, if the total number requested to attend exceeds the capacity of the facility for the Industry Day, it may be necessary to further limit attendance of personnel from each company. DOE will reply via e mail with a registration confirmation and time slot for the One-on-One Information Exchange Session meetings. All expenses associated with attendance are the responsibility of the participants. All registration requests pertaining to this announcement should be directed to the procurement mailbox at EMNevadaEPS@emcbc.doe.gov.
