- Pearl Harbor Multi Award Contract Industry Day 25 January 2018 NAVSEA will hold an Industry Day in Hawaii regarding Hawaii non-nuclear Surface Ship Maintenance, Repair, & Modernization on 25 January 2018. The objective of Industry Day is to engage with industry to discuss and solicit feedback/input on the navy's plans to maximize competition and small business opportunities within the non-nuclear surface ship maintenance, repair, & modernization execution contracting strategy in Hawaii. Additionally, a draft Request for Proposal is attached for industry review and feedback. Please note, the final RFP and any RFP amendments will not be provided via this FBO post. The final RFP and any RFP amendments will be provided via FBO link: https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DON/NAVSEA/NAVSEAHQ/N00024-18-R-4442/listing.html WHERE: Federal Fire Department, 650 Center Drive Bldg. 284 JBPHH, HI 96860 Start time: 0700 HAST Note 1: Directions and parking maps will be sent to those who RSVP. Note 2: This is not on a Government installation and therefore no Common Access Card (CAC) or other Government identification is required in order to attend. This venue is open and accessible to the general public. ITINERARY: 0700 HAST - Government Overview Session/Presentation. 0800 HAST - Gov't Question and Answer (Q&A) Session starts. 1100 HAST - Gov't Question and Answer Session concludes 1130 HAST - Scheduled (as requested) one-on-one sessions with the Government RSVP Instructions: Interested parties are requested to RSVP by close of business Friday, January 19, 2018 by email to Steven Galer at steven.galer@navy.mil and Robert Miron at robert.miron@navy.mil. The RSVP shall have subject line: "NAVSEA Hawaii Industry Day RSVP" and include the following information in the body of the email: a) Each attendee(s) name, company name, e-mail address, and telephone number. b) If applicable, request for one-on-one session with Government including identification of up to 2 attendees per respondent/company. c) Any questions or feedback to the draft RFP. Government will review questions received prior to the RSVP closing date and intends to provide answers at industry day. Questions received during industry day may not be answered. d) Indicate whether or not the Government may be afforded the opportunity for a site inspection/tour of the firm's on-island facility on Thur 25 Jan 2018 or Fri 26 Jan 2018 (please specify the date(s) available). The Government will follow-up on an individual basis and may not visit all sites. NOTE: having an on-island facility is not a pre-requisite to attend industry day. One-on-one Session Information: These sessions are anticipated to be held at the Federal Fire Department. The intent of these one-on-one sessions is to provide Industry a private and non-public forum to present the Government with comments, concerns and recommendations for NAVSEA. Thus, the one-on-one sessions are designed to consist of mostly one-way communication (from the industry firm to the Government). Companies requesting a one-on-one session must indicate such in their RSVP email. These sessions will be about 20 minutes in length (or more if time allows), may be attended by no more than 2 people per company, and will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. The Government will inform attendees of their scheduled one-on-one session time no later than COB (Eastern time) Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018. General Stipulations and Disclaimers: Recording (audio or video) of the event is not permitted. Other than the planned briefing materials referenced above, the Government does not plan to provide additional information for review and comment prior to the Industry Day. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. NAVSEA does not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee costs in response to this notice are not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The Government will not reimburse costs for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement.
