Description

This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Marine Corps Air Station IWAKUNI intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. This requirement is Local Business Set-Aside for Japanese Products. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 332215-Metal Kitchen Cookware, Utensil, Cutlery, and Flatware (except Precious) Manufacturing; Size Standard 750 employees. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M62613-18-Q-0009 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after January 5, 2018. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. Required Item and Descriptions are as see attached a file The Government intends to issue a single award to the responsible quoter whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government considering Technical Capability and Price. It is the quoter ™s responsibility to furnish sufficient information to the Government in order to determine acceptability of the quoted product. Therefore, the quoter shall submit all technical information pertaining to their quoted product in order for the Government to determine technical acceptability. Quoters are instructed to completely fill out vender information and return them along with your quote. Failure to provide the required information and attachment may result in your quote being considered non-responsive by the Government. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS and CAGE Code must be written on submitted offer. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when released, will be available electronically at the following web sites https://www.neco.navy.mil and/or http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation M62613-18-Q-0009. The solicitation also may be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers must be received no later than 10:00AM, Japan Standard Time (JST) on the solicitation closing date, January 11, 2018.
