Description

Synopsis Draft Cyclical Dance Floor Replacement The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (JFKC) is a trust instrumentality of the U.S. Government and a living Presidential memorial. The JFKC fulfills its obligation as a living memorial to the late president through the presentation of performing arts programming and through education activities both in the District of Colombia and around the country. The largest cultural facility of its kind, it consists of 1.5 million square feet of usable floor space and is situated on 17 acres of land. It houses nine theaters, two public restaurants, nine function/special event rooms, five public galleries/halls/foyers, and approximately 50,000 square feet of administrative offices. It attracts over three million visitors annually. The facility is operated 365 days per year and support systems in the building often operate at a capacity in excess of 18 hours per day. The purpose of this requirement is to procure Cyclical Dance Floor Replacement that is paramount to the successful operation of the JFKC. The center is welcoming quotes in order to award a Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order to the contractor submitting the Lowest Price Technically Accepted. The government has deemed this a Brand Name requirement. The Contractor shall replace floors using the manufacturer American Harlequin. All solicitation questions are due in writing, via email by 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018. All Quotes should be submitted by Monday, January 22th, 2018 @1pm EST.
