Description
The Government intends to award up to one Indefinite-Quantity, Indefinite-Delivery (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for Habitat Restoration and Monitoring Services within the South Pacific Division. The objective of this solicitation is to award to a small business one IDIQ contract with a five year ordering period. The government intends to award one IDIQ contract, however the government reserves the right to award more, less, or none at all. The maximum capacity for all contract(s) awarded will be $9,900,000.00. The Government also intends to award one (1) task order from this solicitation immediately following the IDIQ contract award. The performance of work will be authorized by issuance of task orders by a duly warranted Government Contracting Officer. The U.S. Army is conducting soils remediation at the former Fort Ord. As part of the remediation project, the Army will restore vegetation on impacted areas. Objective is to provide seed/plant material collection, propagation, planting, monitoring, testing, and minor erosion control repairs necessary to restore the area to the requirements of the Site 39 Habitat Restoration Plan. The restoration areas contain primarily rare central maritime chaparral habitat with smaller inclusions of coastal sage scrub, oak woodland, grassland, and vernal pool habitats. The requirements are to (1) restore the natural plant habitat, following soil remediation activities in accordance with the goals and objectives identified in the Fort Ord Habitat Restoration Plan for Site 39 Inland Ranges, Former Fort Ord, California, and (2) to conduct habitat monitoring on Former Fort Ord following MEC remediation activities as specified in the Protocol for Conducting Vegetation Monitoring in Compliance with the Installation-Wide Mulitspecies Habitat Management Plan at Former Fort Ord, and Wetland Monitoring and Restoration Plan for Munitions and Contaminated Soil Remedial Activities at former Ft. Ord.The Contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the work to achieve environmental acceptance of work completed.
