Draft PWS Dated 5 Jan 18 Request for Information REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Technical Control Facility Services Request for Information (RFI) The 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron (766 SCONS) is conducting market research to determine feasibility for a potential requirement. This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued to obtain knowledge and information for acquisition and project planning purposes. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or price quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from industry vendors regarding their interest and capabilities to execute the subject services located on the Hickam side of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. In addition, the Government will not accept unsolicited proposals. The information provided is entirely voluntary and will not impact the ability to compete on future requirements. GENERAL PURPOSE Description of Services The 747th Communications Squadron (747 CS) is researching the capabilities of industry to provide 24/7 on-site support to long-haul activities such as tactical voice, data, video, and testing communications services to include circuit-based networks and consolidated Defense Information System Network (DISN) transport Internet Protocol (IP) network infrastructure, minor maintenance repair to circuit and communications equipment, provide end-to-end support service, and DISN transport support. The contractor will be responsible for providing all management, supervision and labor necessary to accomplish the following tasks (Please see Draft SOW for further details): •Provide and Maintain Technical Control GIG and DII Operations •Provide Operations Support •Provide Technical Support •Provide Program Management Acquisition Approach The 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron has not determined the acquisition approach. This RFI will allow the Air Force to make an informed decision about how to proceed. RFI REQUIREMENTS Description of Information Requested: 1. Company Size (Large, Small, WOSM, VOSB, etc.) d. Applicable NAICS e. GSA Contract Information (if applicable) 2. Does your company have experience rendering this type of service on Oahu, HI? 3. Identify your firm's experience in managing technical/information technology contracts of similar size, scope, and magnitude of effort as a prime contractor. 4. Does your company have the capability to perform the entire requirement? If not, identify what portion(s) in which your company does have experience. 5. Identify any teaming arrangements your company may have which would be applicable for this requirement. 6. Identify sources of supply your company has that are relevant to this requirement. 7. Identify any limitation in staffing for the effort. 8. Provide any other pertinent information that will assist us in this assessment.
