Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21, will be issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the primary objective to provide all design, labor, and material to retrofit the existing main water piping system in the Defender s Lodge, building 9 at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Palo Alto, California. Solicitation will be issued set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents are not currently available and will be available on or about January 5, 2018. Offerors/bidders will be required to submit both a technical and pricing proposal. Solicitation will contain proposal instructions. All information contained in this Pre-Solicitation announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and the small business size standard is $15M. Per VAAR 836.204, the project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Potential Offerors/bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors/bidders must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. A project site visit will be held at the Defender s Lodge, Bldg. #9, VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Ave, Palo Alto, CA 95231 on January 17, 2018 at 9:30am.
