Description

Medtronic StealthStation Surgical Navigation System Maintenance Services This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 811219. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to the forthcoming solicitation. The Iowa City VA Health Care System located at 601 Highway 6 West, Iowa City, Iowa 52246 is seeking a qualified potential contractor to provide Medtronic StealthStation Surgical Navigation System Maintenance Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts, and expertise necessary to provide preventive maintenance, emergency (unscheduled) repair, and 24/7 telephone technical support of the Medtronic StealthStation Surgical Navigation System. The contractor must have fully trained field service engineers who have been trained by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on the specific model of equipment. The contractor must provide documentation of factory certified service/maintenance training on the specific equipment. All parts used shall be OEM parts only. Reverse engineered and/or refurbished parts shall not be utilized. Equipment to be serviced includes: Stealth Navigation Imaging Carts AxiEM Portable System O-Arm To respond to this sources sought notice, please email a capabilities statement and the company s DUNS number to Kelly Nussbaum, Contracting Officer, at Kelly.Nussbaum@va.gov. The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is December 29, 2017 at 4:30 PM Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the forthcoming solicitation. The sources sought notice is for market research purposes only.
