Description

SOLE SOURCE: Synopsis: INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE MICC-West Point intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13-106-1(b)(1)(i), "Only one responsible source" based on the company being the sole developer and provider of the products and is therefore the only source capable of satisfying the Government requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with CAS A Division of the American Chemical Society, 2540 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43202 for: CAS SCIENCFINDER - QTY 1 EACH WITH A BASE AND 4 OPTION YEARS BEGINNING POP BASE YR- 01 FEB 2018 - 31 JAN 2019, OPTION YR 1-01 FEB 2019-31 JAN 2020, OTION YR 2- 01 FEB 2020-31 JAN 2021, OPTION YEAR 3- 01 FEB 2021-31 JAN 2022, OPTION YR 4- 01 FEB 2022-31 JAN 2023 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 12/20/17 by 16:00 Eastern Standard Time (EST) by email to patricialee.a.pomarico.civ@mail.mil.
