- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of bag-in-box (BIB) beverage supply for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 311930 (Size Standard: 1000 employees). This solicitation is being issued as a small business set aside. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with the Statement of Work. The Government anticipates requiring an estimated maximum of 1440 cases of BIB beverage mix per year. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 15, 2017 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
