Description
The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the upcoming Drydocking Phased Maintenance Availability (DPMA) onboard USS ZEPHYR (PC 8) to include performance of dry-docking and pier-side maintenance, repair, and alterations with the start of the contract anticipated to begin in Oct 2018. Solicitation will be available on or about May 2018. Offerors are restricted to holders of a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA). This is neither a solicitation nor request for proposal. It does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. Contractors are required to hold, or meet the eligibility requirements to hold, a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) by the start of the contract. Contractors are required to have a facility capable of berthing a PC class vessel which must meet all water depth and access requirements as defined by FY-18 NAVSEA Standard Item 009-101. The facility must be available for use from October 2018 to February 2019. Contractors are required to own a dry dock capable of docking a PC class vessel or a have a letter of commitment from the owner of a facility capable of docking a PC that is certified to MIL-STD-1625D(SH) or capable of being certified to MIL-STD-1625D(SH) no later than thirty days prior to the start of the contract. The place of performance is Mayport, Florida (homeport area).
