- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research. This Sources Sought is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned-Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS code) 334290. The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center has a need to upgrade the existing card VA Proximity/Multiclass PIV card readers to Government PIV Card Readers. The VA Police Service needs this capability, as this new card reader will be able read all other Government issued PIV cards that are used for other purposes. The Existing PIV reader software will need upgrading to the most current software, the CCure 9000. Existing PIV readers will also need to be replaced with new Government PIV readers, and both parts of this control access system MUST be calibrated while the system is LIVE. Your response will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to the notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334290 and the small business standard is 750 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by email to Shari Lee at Shari.Lee@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 5:00 PM Central Standard Time by Thursday, December 07, 2017.
