- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC PACIFIC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract modification to increase the contract ceiling by $1,695,785.78 on Brandywine Communications contract N66001-14-D-0051. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This contract provides highly-specialized supplies for the sustainment of 141 deployed Time and Frequency Distribution Systems (TFDS) in the Fleet. The ruggedized systems are installed on submarines, submarine tenders, submarine training and laboratory facilities, shore platforms, and TACAMO aircraft. This contract also provides for the procurement of TFDS systems and components for deployed Virginia Class submarines and TACAMO aircraft. The Navy has an immediate need for additional TFDS items to support emerging requirements. The anticipated period of performance will not be extended. The current contract will expire 4 June 2019. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS Code) is 334519. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all inquiries received within 15 days after date of publication of this market survey will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any resulting procurement would be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15.
