Description

SLAC is seeking for a supplier of nineteen (19) silicon mirrors to be used in the beamlines of the LCLS. The mirror substrates shall be single-crystal silicon, with <100> direction oriented along Length. The mirrors will have optically polished area from 250 to 1000 mm in length and up to 40 mm in width. All the manufacturing processes used to produce the mirror shall be UHV compatible. The non-Optical surface finish shall be fine ground and wet-chemical etched. The main specifications for the mirrors are: Mirror shape: Flat (quantity 8) Residual Tangential Radius of curvature: > 20 Km Mirror shape: Elliptical (quantity 11) Residual tangential slope errors: < 0.2 microrad rms Residual tangential shape errors below 1 nm rms and as low as 0.4 nm rms for some mirrors The microroughness of the optical surface shall be below 0.3 nm rms measured in the 20 nm - 1 mm spatial wavelengths. The Vendor shall be able to provide optical metrology prove of the achievement of the required specification prior the delivery of the optic THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
