Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Announcement NCO 16 Division II Supply Team Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking to award an Open Market Purchase Order IAW FAR 13.106 for Purchase and Installation of a SOMAT D-5 Food Waste Grinder in the Nutritional Food Service Department at the Gulf Coast VA Healthcare System in Biloxi, MS. This procurement is conducted under NAICS 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. This is a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In order to qualify for this set-aside, firms must be registered in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/ITEM SPECIFICATIONS: Minimum specifications include: Must be compatible with existing Somat food waste disposal recovery system Removal of existing grinder Installation of new unit Warranty on Parts and Labor for 1 Year. This is a Brand Name Procurement for a SOMAT D-5 Food Waste Grinder, Garbage Disposal (see attached Brand Name J&A). The technically acceptable quote with the lowest price will obtain the award.
