- Notice of Intent to Issue Sole Source Purchase Order for Environment & Energy Publishing, LLC E&E News Subscriptions This notice is in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Acquisition Operations Branch is the contracting office for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to announce the intent to award a firm fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Environment & Energy Publishing, LLC, 122 C St. N, Ste. 722, Washington, DC 20001 (DUNS: 019841324) in accordance with FAR part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) for E&E News Subscriptions. Description: The Contractor shall provide the following news subscription services: Environment & Energy Publishing, LLC ¿s Energy Wire, Climate Wire, E&E Daily, Greenwire, and E&E News PM. The subscriptions required shall provide comprehensive news coverage of environmental and energy industry issues, both international and United States (U.S.) and U.S. policy specific news, and coverage of news pertaining to the BSEE as it may arise. It is anticipated that a purchase order award for this requirement will occur on or before December 14, 2017. The period of performance shall be for one (1) one-year base period with four (4) one-year options, for a total of four (4) years if all as follows: BASE PERIOD: December 15, 2017, through December 14, 2018 OPTION PERIOD 1: December 15, 2018, through December 14, 2019 OPTION PERIOD 2: December 15, 2019, through December 14, 2020 OPTION PERIOD 3: December 15, 2020, through December 14, 2021 The applicable NAICS Code is 519130 (Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals). This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency if received by the Contracting Officer listed below by 12:00 PM, EST, December 7, 2017 (reference Solicitation No. 140E0118Q0010). A determination not to compete this action is within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
