Description

The purpose of this modification is to answer the following questions: Is this system required to be OI&T TRM approved?   No Is the system required to be listed as approved for use on the VA s approved technology website --> https://www.oit.va.gov/services/trm/? No Is the system required to be FIPS 140-2 Certified? No Does the technology and configuration need to be OI&T approved for use in the Medical Center? No Will this system be attached to the VA network? No Will there be any messaging or notifications required to be sent to the handsets? No Because there is no brand name J&A, will you accept Or Equal? Yes, but handsets need to have these characteristics: Wideband audio Prioritized and color-coded messages DECT Security (encryption) Centralized management Shared phone Bluetooth Alarm button Item Number 0021 and 0022 in the solicitation is specifically rejected for use in the VA by OI&T.  How is this being approved for use at the medical center? System is in other VA medical centers and does not use IT. Added SOW in Solicitation see attached on updated S02
