- The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a modification to extend the current U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center's (ATC) contract W91CRB-15-C-0005 with Caleum Research Corporation, 30 W Gude Drive Ste 200, Rockville, MD 20850-1177 for a 6 month base period (1 January - 30 June 2018) and 2 one-month options (1 July - 31 August 2018). The current Contract is a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee arrangement for Data Collection Support Services (DCSS) with a period of performance of 3 years 2 months. The scope of work is for data service functions to include data collection and coordination, data compilation, data collection form development and management, data collection user and software administration, transcription/processing, review and reporting, test monitoring, technical writing and editorial review, on a wide variety of automotive, combat, electronic, general equipment, and ordinance materiel undergoing extensive testing; in addition, range scheduling support, word processing, data processing, and other support services. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government does not intend to fund the development of qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based upon the responses received. Responses to this notice are considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Roxanne Barbaris is the POC for this action; Roxanne.Barbaris.civ@mail.mil.
