- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only sources that have obtained government source approval. Government intends to solicit for purchase of NSN 9BM 1680 016225533, ANTENNA, PHASE STAB, which is in support of the P-8 Aircraft. NAVSUP WSS is also seeking to determine if there are any commercial items (CI) or non-developmental items (NDI) that will satisfy the repair needs of this forthcoming procurement. The contractor shall provide the necessary facility, labor, materials, parts, as well as test and tooling equipment required to manufacture this item. The item under this acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act. Vendors shall also indicate whether they are a large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or women-owned small business. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards may be made. Eligible contractors shall provide: 1) Company Name and Cage Code 2) Part Number/NIIN eligible to repair 3) Is your company the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)? 4) Is your company seeking to repair the P/N(s) in #2 as a CI or NDI part? a) What is the CI or NDI repair part that will satisfy these requirements? 5) Is your company capable of repairing the P/N in #2 but your company is not the OEM? a) Explain how your company has the technical capacity to perform the necessary repairs. 6) Is your company a Small Business? If so, what type of Small Business? 7) Company POC All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Spares.
