- Description
- The FBI is seeking a file sharing solution that will enable the Bureau to securely share documents with identified partners and trusted parties at high volumes (10GB+) with a real-time web-based audit trail of all activities. Here are the functional capabilities the Bureau is seeking: 1. Provisioned out of FedRAMP Moderate or High approved data centers 2. Be able to work on all currently supported versions of Windows, MAC OS, Android, and CENTOS 3. Be able to encrypt files at rest on the endpoints (Servers, Workstations, Laptops, Mobile) and in transit from endpoints to cloud storage 4. Support FBI branding of portal and all email notifications, and allow for one or more FBI subdomains, each with a unique URL, branding and certificate, for all file sharing and associated links 5. Be intuitive and have negligible onboarding costs for internal users and external recipients (e.g., no software install required by recipient) 6. Support the Microsoft Office files, PDF files, image files (jpg, jpeg, bmp, png, gif, tiff), Office 365, Microsoft Visio, and major supported Microsoft Officer versions 7. Provide front-end interface to xml-based cross domain solutions, to enable audit on both ends of the cross domain 8. Allow bidirectional sharing of folders and files that exceed what can be sent via email, minimally 10GByte per file, and unlimited total share size 9. Have the ability to initiate trusted and secure sharing of files/folders with external recipients from their desktop (both local and network files/folders), via web mail, via email clients (minimally Outlook for Windows and Mac) and via mobile devices. 10. Be able to share files with "view only" access to the recipient, with no ability for the recipient to download or print the shared files; to automatically expire access to shared files based on time period; to revoke access to files/folders at any time; to request extension to expired access to files/folders; to extend access to files, at the request of recipients, whose access has expired; to show recipients (optionally) FBI customized "Terms of Use" when the file is accessed. All electronic briefs should be no more than 3 pages in length, include contractor information and SAM data and all capability briefs should be emailed directly to tlfraser@fbi.gov and tylatimore@fbi.gov by 5:00 PM EST November 27, 2017.
