- This sources sought is issued to conduct market research and determine the availability and technical capability of all sources to provide the required services. This sources sought allows potential contractors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capabilities. The sources sought effort is intended to assess industry service capabilities and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. GENERAL/SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, and supplies to provide alterations to newly issued USAF male and female dress and utility uniforms consisting of trousers, slacks, shirts, blouses, skirts, and coats services including pickup and delivery at 911th Airlift Wing. SPECIFIC TASKS: The contractor shall pickup uniforms and deliver pressed uniforms. Counting of articles shall be done by Government personnel prior to pick up. The contractor shall verify count and sign a pickup ticket for the items bein picked up and such signature constitutes his/her agreement to the Government's count unless specific exception is taken. The original pick up slip will be retained by the Government. The Contractor will record number of pieces delivered on the delivery ticket and the Government representative will verify this amount. The contractor shall provide the tickets and furnish the Government the original and one copy. Compliance with any certification or labeling requirements arising from state or local department of health regulations is the responsibility of the Contractor. Delivered finished articles shall conform to the generally accepted industry standards of quality of cleanliness, finish and appearance. All work performed shall be done under sanitary conditions. Delivered articles must be clean, dry, free of lint, odor, spots, stains and pressed free of wrinkles. Any articles missing from a delivery shall be delivered by the contractor in the next regularly scheduled delivery at no additional cost to the Government.
