Description
"THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY" The Roswell Job Corps Center is seeking sub-contract services to fulfill the following scope of work. Findings: Bldg. 533- Portions of the southwest concrete overhang are spalling and reinforcing steel rebar are exposed and corroded. Bldg. 558- Portions of the northwest concrete overhang are spalling and reinforcing steel rebar are exposed and corroded. Scope of Work/Project: Bldg. 533- Clean exposed rebar of rust and coat with a rust inhibitive prime paint. Where expanded rail posts had spalled the edge, demolish the spalled concrete and repair per ICRI Technical Guidelines. Place new concrete to match the existing overhang edge dimensions and geometry using Sika 123 or comparable material. Bldg. 558- Remove spalled concrete. Clean rebar to remove all corrosion. Coat the exposed rebar and concrete surface with an epoxy bonding compound. Place new concrete to match the existing overhang edge dimensions and geometry using Sika 123 or comparable material. After curing, coat the top surface of the concrete with a silicon water sealant to prevent infiltration into the concrete. Dispose of all project-related debris. General Conditions: Contractor must be licensed/certified and insured to provide this type of service. Quote to list labor, materials, and disposal expense (if any). Contractor to include all warranty information with quote. No work may be started without a written Purchase Order issued by the Purchasing Department. No Change Orders will be approved without prior approval from the Purchasing Department. All work to be coordinated through the Facilities Department (Mr. Holden Giacco 575-347-7409) Contractors working at the Roswell Job Corps Center must sign in and out each day at front desk. Vehicles entering and exiting the Job Corps Center are subject to search. Work may be scheduled between the hours of 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Contractor is responsible to ensure safe working conditions for staff and contractors employees.
